Singapore Movie Fiesta '08 in collaboration with nuFFnang is calling out to Singapore bloggers to blog about what qualities and attributes Singapore's very own superhero should have?


Introdution


Superhero’s name: Aqua-man

Real name: William Tan

Occupation (Secret Identity): Life guard

Working place: Sentosa's beach


Ability/ power: Ability to control water, neutralise water condition, including covering his own body with water to defense himself and he can communicate with water living things. They can inform him whoever that is polluting the water.

Costume: Swimming trunk only (Opps....)

Head Quarters:










Hidden lair beneath NEWater Visitor Centre

This is secret base, which served a variety of functions that included

-a safehouse, where the heroes can conceal themselves from their enemies.


-a laboratory, for experiments and scientific study.

-a research library, covering a variety of topics from science, to history, to criminal profiling.

-an armory, for weapons design, construction and storage.

-a garage/hangar/dock.

-a communications center.

-a weapons platform, for defense of the facility (these are more common to supervillains).

-a trophy room, where mementos of significant battles and adventures are displayed.

-a common area, for social activity.

Enemy: Mas- A man who is always plotting to poison the Singapore's water resource by polluting it with toxic.

Sidekick: Iccie

Origin, Backstory & Moral Code:


Aqua-man, a timid 18 year old boy who often being bullied in school.

One day he gained superpower after being bitten by a strange fish near the water of Sentosa.


After that day, he begins to use his power to protect people who are are alway being bully.


Later Mas came into the picture. He was the one who pollute the Singapore's water resource.

Aqua-man knew about this incident and he know that something need to be done. He realised he is the only person who can track him down.

He always remember (Spiderman) Peter Parker's Uncle, Ben, told Parker that "with great power comes great responsibility"
and he realised he can help in this incident to track Mas down.


And with that, he had a stronger belief in justice and humanitarian service needed to be done.
