*SCAPE Museum of Horrors 2013: The Twins

Introduction to *SCAPE Museum of Horrors 2013: The Twins
We have all heard our fair share of urban legends and local folklores, whispered on camping trips or over the dining table. Now, Museum of Horrors brings those haunting and stories to life, as visitors can now gain first-hand experience of the horror and fear of the supernatural, right at our doorstep.

Following over 5,000pax turnout last year, *SCAPE returns with its 4th Halloween production with its co-presenter, Movie Mania. To inspire youths and support leadership development, we invited youths from Singapore Polytechnic to conceptualise ideas for Museum of Horrors 2013. Please refer to Annex A to find out more about our Youth Managing Committee and Movie Mania.

This year, we present the first ever local horror theme in Orchard Road, inspired by the true-life events and stories of those who have experienced them.

Slither through a maze with seven realistic dioramic sets depicting various novel places around Singapore with a reputation for the paranormal. Meet the ghost bride as she pines for her lost ring at Old Tampines Road, and revisit the site of the mysterious deaths at ‘H’ Hotel. All thrill seekers will experience their worst nightmares, feel the gnawing fear of being trapped in a lift with a vengeful spirit, walk through the infamous Bedok Reservoir and feel the presence of evil sending chills down their spine. Once again, this experience promises to be intense for those seeking a truly terrifying yet entertaining Halloween at *SCAPE.

The horror workshop is part of our volunteer engagement program, which enables volunteers to learn how gory and grisly prop used in Halloween sets are made, and get tips on how to apply creepy make-up for Halloween. Subsequently, these youth volunteers will be able to apply their new-found skills on the performers and the public during the Museum of Horrors event.

2. Gruesome Photobooth at *SCAPE Warehouse
In the spirit of Halloween, we hope to engage the public and get them involved in the festival. We will be placing a photobooth outside *SCAPE Warehouse for the public to show off your scariest and ugliest (or prettiest!) Halloween costumes and makeup.
