Join in the festive celebrations with AMARA SINGAPORE!

The long-awaited time of the year is here, where everyone basks in the holiday spirit and Christmas cheers! One of the handful ways to celebrate this time is to indulge in good buffets with family and friends. At Amara Singapore, located in the heart of CBD, walkable distance from Tanjong Pagar MRT station, you can find an array of dining and party options catered to create memorable experiences for you and your loved ones!

Element restaurant is one of restaurants within Amara Singapore. They are having Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve buffet packages, which will be available on 24th, 25th and 31st of December 2017! Listed below are some food selections you can find from the sumptuous festive spreads. Some of the highlights include Tuna Tataki with Cucumber Ribbons and Puffed Quinoa, Cocktail Prawn & Crab Meat with Duo Melon, Marinated Duck Rilette with Red Wine Dried Fruits Chutney and Gherkin Salsa, Stir-fried Moreton Bay Bug with Salted Egg and Turkey Buah Keluak!

Tuna Tataki with Cucumber Ribbons and puffed Quinoa

Start off the buffet with fine appetizers like the Tuna Tataki with Cucumber Ribbons and puffed Quinoa. This dish was made with delicate medium-rare tuna slices that melted in the mouth. Well-seared with a nice peppery crust, it added a touch of zest in each bite.

Cold cuts – Parma Ham, Salami and Smoked Duck

Delight in the quality cold cut platter that served up thinly sliced and fresh ham, salami and smoked duck! Expect to taste juicy and well-seasoned meats that whets your appetite.

Cocktail Prawn & Crab Meat with Duo Melon

Prawn lovers will delight in these sweet, bouncy and crunchy prawns. Chef Charles at Amara sure knows how to execute his dishes well to give the right texture and mouthfeel. Simply satisfying.

Honey Baked Butter Pumpkin with Honey Mustard and Pumpkin Seed

Surely a dish that reminds you of the Christmas season. The butter created a nice gooey texture and elevated the taste of the sweet pumpkins. Boosting the dish with nutritious and pumpkin seed, the sweet diced pumpkins were well-balanced with earthy, nutty goodness.

Marinated Duck Rillette with Red Wine Dried Fruits Chutney and Gherkin Salsa

I was impressed with this flavourful and tantalising duck rillette. The meat shredded readily in the mouth and released the fragrance of the spices and herbs. If you prefer, you can pair it with the fruity chutney or just have it as it is to savour the full flavour of the meat.

Cognac Lobster Bisque

A decadent treat for the soup lovers. Have a bowl of the piquant lobster bisque that fire up your mouth with tanginess. Simmered for a good number of hours to extract the essence of the lobster, the soup was deeply flavourful and rich.

Steamed Brocolli with Conpoy and Chinese Mushroom

Get your vegetables fix here. A switch of cuisines to keep your taste buds busy and satisfied, the steamed broccoli with conpoy and Chinese mushroom is a well-received dish by many Chinese. The mushrooms were firm and juicy and broccolis, crunchy.

Roasted Chicken with Meat Floss

As if roasted Chicken was not tasty enough, meat floss was added to this dish. You can only imagine how irresistible the entire dish became.

Fried Moreton Bay Bug with Salted Egg

Another interesting dish that Chef Charles has created. Combining everyone’s favourite salted egg sauce with Moreton Bay Bug, a species of slipper lobster from Indian and Pacific oceans. Taste the freshness in the meat as you bite through the mouth-watering and crisp salted egg batter. The chilli slices added an extra punch to the overall taste, making it mildly spicy.

Turkey Buah Keluak

Taste Chef Charles’ specialty turkey as he whipped up his Peranakan culinary skills to prepare this Peranakan-Western dish of the night! This bold move to infuse the acquired bitter and nutty flavours from buah keluak sauce to the slow-roasted turkey turned out pleasantly delightful. My only gripe was that the turkey could be juicier. For those who are new to buah keluak, it is worth the try!

Pink Champagne Lychee Yule Logcake (1kg, $52)

Light, moist, boasting a sweet strawberry champagne flavour with bits of lychee, this log cake welcomes all who loves something sweet and fruitty.

Dark Chocolate Cherry Yule Logcake (1kg, $52)

Chocolaty and rich, it can never go wrong.

Amara’s Signature Chempedak Yule Logcake (1kg, $65)

Cake lovers have got to try this unique yet strongly appetizing Chempedak Yule Logcake, which is Amara’s signature flavour.

Assorted Macarons

Pamper yourself with the delectable macarons at the end of the meal! Find flavours like lemon, ginger, coconut, chocolate and blueberry salted caramel from the counter!

Chempedak Crème Brûlée

Try these little gems out!
